Active mobile RV repair across Gig Harbor, WA and the Kitsap-side Puget Sound waterfront. Same-day on roof, plumbing, electrical, slide-outs, AC, and generator service. Run by Wyatt Stevens, RVIA-certified, accountable to the harbor and west Pierce County RV community.
Gig Harbor sits across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge on the Kitsap Peninsula side of Puget Sound, where Henderson Bay, Hale Passage, and the Narrows put salt air on every rig parked within a mile of the water. The harbor town character pulls a heavy mix of retiree boater-RVer households who run rigs alongside boats, and the corrosion patterns we see reflect that.
The fleet here leans toward retiree Class A diesel pushers parked at full-hookup resorts, fishing and boating Class C rigs and truck campers running Olympic Peninsula and Hood Canal trips, and Sprinter Class B builds. We see all three categories on a weekly rotation.
Constant 40+ inches of annual rain plus dense fir tree canopy on most lots produces year-round moss and algae growth on roofs and slide-toppers. Combined with the salt drift, it is a uniquely punishing environment for exterior hardware and membranes.
Salt air drift off Henderson Bay and the Tacoma Narrows pits Lippert Kwikee electric step assemblies, eats Carefree and Solera awning brackets, and locks up underbelly stabilizer jacks within two seasons. Step assembly replacement runs $385 - $685 flat depending on step count, and stabilizer jack rebuild on a fifth wheel is $245 - $385 per corner.
Heavy moss colonization on EPDM and TPO roof membranes is the second base load. We do scrape, soft-wash, and reseal with Dicor self-leveling lap sealant for $185 - $385, and slide-topper replacement on a single slide runs $385 - $585.
The third recurring pattern is refrigerator vent leak and front-cap delamination from steady wet-side weather. Norcold and Dometic absorption fridge cooling-unit replacement is $885 - $1,485 flat. Front-cap reseal where the fiberglass meets the EPDM is $245 - $485 depending on the radius and how much butyl tape needs renewal.

If you call before 11 AM we usually land same-day inside Gig Harbor city limits and at Sun Outdoors. Emergency leak or no-power dispatch runs a 2 to 4 hour window.
For Kopachuck and Penrose Point state parks, plan on 30 to 45 minutes from dispatch in normal traffic.

Yes. Heavy moss and algae load on EPDM and TPO membranes is the wet-side base load. We do soft-wash, scrape, and reseal with Dicor self-leveling lap sealant for $185 - $385 flat over every penetration.
Full membrane replacement when delamination has set in runs $1,850 - $3,200 depending on roof length.
Refrigerator vent reseal on a Norcold or Dometic absorption fridge runs $185 - $385 flat including new butyl tape and a Dicor seal at the roof flange.
If the cooling unit itself has failed (boil-out or ammonia leak) replacement runs $885 - $1,485 flat.
Yes. Retiree Class A diesel pushers staging here for the trip south in September and October are a regular part of our calendar. We do leveling-jack rebuild, slide-out service, AC capacitor swap, and pre-trip inspection.
Chassis and engine work goes to a Cummins or Freightliner shop in Tacoma; we cover everything coach-side.
Standard hours are 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Saturday. After-hours emergency dispatch carries a $40 to $75 surcharge on top of the flat-rate.
Sunday calls are case-by-case and we will tell you on the phone whether we can land that day.
For most jobs, no. We quote flat-rate by phone, run the call, and take card or ACH on the truck once you approve.
For larger installs (lithium house bank, full solar, EPDM membrane replacement) we may take 30 percent down on parts ordered, balance on completion.
The Gig Harbor truck stages off Burnham Dr near the harbor so we can reach Sun Outdoors, Kopachuck State Park, and Penrose Point inside 30 to 45 minutes. Same-day landing on calls placed before 11 AM, 2 to 4 hour emergency response on roof, electrical, and propane safety calls.
Extended-area runs out to Port Orchard, Bremerton, Tacoma, and Purdy land same-day or next-morning depending on call volume; Olympic Peninsula trips beyond Belfair and Shelton run 4 to 6 hours from dispatch. What we do not cover here is chassis work; engine, transmission, and frame issues on Class A diesel pushers go to Cummins Northwest in Tacoma or Freightliner of Tacoma.
