Active mobile RV repair across Kent, WA and the Green River valley industrial corridor. Same-day on roof, plumbing, electrical, slide-outs, AC, and generator service. Run by Lucas Burns, RVIA-certified, accountable to the south King County RV community.
Kent occupies the Green River valley between Seattle and Tacoma, anchored by the Kent Valley industrial corridor, the ShoWare Center, Lake Meridian, and the south King County warehouse belt. The Seattle/Tacoma KOA Journey here is the largest big-rig friendly campground in south King, which puts a constant rotation of out-of-state Class A and fifth-wheel rigs on our calendar.
Local owners run a mix of Class C weekenders heading to Mount Rainier, Cascades-bound truck campers, and a growing fleet of Sprinter Class B conversions. Year-round, we also see plenty of stored fifth wheels and travel trailers sitting in Kent industrial-belt storage lots under cottonwood and big-leaf maple drip.
With 38 inches of annual rain, frequent overnight freezes off the Green River through January and February, and rigs sitting outdoors in unheated lots, the dominant calls are roof reseal, slide seal mildew, frozen-burst water line repair, and refrigerator and heat-pump diagnostics on rigs waking up after a wet winter.
The seasonal pattern in Kent is roof seal failure October through April, then a flood of dewinterize and freeze-damage discovery calls in March and April. Burst PEX line repair in the underbelly runs $245 - $485 depending on how many sections are split, and frost-cracked Atwood or Suburban water heater tank replacement is $785 - $1,395 flat including new anode and bypass.
Roof reseal is the year-round base load. Cracked Dicor on EPDM and TPO membranes around vent flanges, antenna bases, and the front cap drives the work. We run scrape-and-reseal at $185 - $385 flat with self-leveling Dicor over every penetration.
Slide-out work is the third bucket: Schwintek motors gummed up by mildew in slide seals, Lippert through-frame gear packs binding from cold-soaked grease, and slide-topper rot from valley moss. Schwintek motor and rail kit swap is $485 - $785, slide-topper replacement is $385 - $585 per slide.

The KOA Journey is inside Kent city limits, 10 minutes from our staging point. Same-day landing on calls placed before 11 AM is the norm.
Emergency leak or no-power dispatch runs a 2 to 4 hour window with flat-rate quoted by phone before we leave.
Yes. March and April dewinterize season is when most freeze damage shows up; rigs that were not properly winterized over December and January reveal split PEX, cracked low-point drains, and frost-fractured water heater tanks.
Burst PEX line repair runs $245 - $485 flat, water heater tank replacement is $785 - $1,395 including new anode and bypass.
Single slide topper replacement runs $385 - $585 flat, including new vinyl, hardware, and tension adjustment. We carry common Carefree and Solera topper sizes on the truck.
Multi-slide rigs we quote per topper on the phone before dispatch.
Yes. Dewinterize is a flat-rate $145 - $245 service that includes flushing the antifreeze, checking every fitting, pressure-testing the system, and verifying the water heater bypass and pump function.
We will also flag any frost-cracked components and quote the repair before doing additional work.
Yes. Norcold and Dometic absorption fridge cooling-unit replacement runs $885 - $1,485 flat. We also do residential 12V refrigerator (Furrion, Vitrifrigo) swaps for $1,485 - $2,185 depending on cabinet fit.
We bring the new cooling unit, old-unit reclaim, and a leak-test kit on the truck.
Yes. Pre-trip inspection, roof reseal, slide-out service, and Onan generator service are common requests for fifth wheels and toy haulers staging the I-90 run.
NRVIA Level 2 pre-trip inspection runs $385 - $585; we deliver a written report with photos.
Standard hours are 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Saturday. After-hours emergency dispatch carries a $40 to $75 surcharge on top of the flat-rate.
Sunday calls are case-by-case and we will tell you on the phone whether we can land that day.
No, as long as we have access and a phone number for sign-off. Many of our KOA calls happen while the owner is in downtown Seattle on the bus shuttle.
We text photos before and after, send the flat-rate quote in writing, and run payment on the truck.
The Kent truck stages off Central Ave S near downtown Kent so we can reach the Seattle/Tacoma KOA, Lake Meridian, and ShoWare-area lots inside 15 minutes. Same-day landing on calls placed before 11 AM, 2 to 4 hour emergency response on roof, electrical, and propane safety calls.
Extended-area runs out to Auburn, Renton, Tukwila, Federal Way, Black Diamond, and Maple Valley land same-day or next-morning depending on call volume. What we do not cover here is chassis work; engine, transmission, and frame issues on Class A diesel pushers go to Cummins Northwest in Renton or Freightliner of Seattle.
