Active mobile RV repair across Bellingham, WA and Whatcom County. Same-day on roof leaks, plumbing, electrical, slide-outs, AC, and Onan generators. Run by Travis Cole, RVIA-trained, accountable to every rig from Chuckanut Drive to the Sumas border.
Bellingham sits on Bellingham Bay 21 miles south of the Sumas and Blaine border crossings, so most weeks our truck splits time between Canadian-plated Class A's staging for Alaska Highway runs and local weekenders running Chuckanut Drive and the Mt. Baker Highway. The cross-border traffic is what makes this market different from anywhere else in Washington. We see far more LP regulator swaps, propane fitting conversions, and 30A/50A pedestal questions on Canadian-spec coaches than any inland WA shop.
The maritime climate dumps roughly 35 inches of rain a year, and the marine humidity off Bellingham Bay never really lets up. That drives a steady, predictable repair pattern: roof-seam leaks, soft floors around slide seals, moss colonization on EPDM and TPO membranes, and salt-air corrosion on step motors and battery terminals.
Our customer base is roughly half retiree Class A's wintering before or after Alaska runs, plus full-timers parked seasonally at Larrabee and Bellingham RV Park. We work them on-site, on their schedule, with a flat rate quoted before we dispatch.
The single most common Bellingham call is a roof leak traced to cracked Dicor lap sealant on a vent or AC shroud, usually after a rig has sat through a wet October-to-April stretch. We typically run a full perimeter and penetration reseal at $185 - $385 and replace any failed EPDM seam tape while we're up there. Soft floors around slide seals and front-cap delamination follow close behind on rigs stored uncovered near the bay.
Schwintek slide motors fail constantly here because the worm gears corrode in the marine air. A motor swap runs $485 - $785 flat including the new Lippert assembly. Slide topper waterlogging and torn fabric are also weekly calls, especially on rigs returning from coastal weekenders, and we replace those at $385 - $585 depending on length.
On the propane and electrical side, Atwood DSI module failures, LP regulator freeze-up, and battery terminal corrosion show up year-round. A regulator swap with a leak-test cert is $185 flat. We also see a steady stream of converter and inverter diagnosis on Canadian rigs running through 30A pedestal adapters at Bellingham RV Park.

If you call before 11 AM we land same-day in Bellingham, Ferndale, Lynden, and out to Larrabee State Park. After 11 AM we usually slot you into next-morning unless it is an emergency leak or no-power situation, in which case we run an emergency 2-4 hour response.
We confirm a flat-rate by phone before the truck rolls so there are no diagnostic-fee surprises. After-hours emergency adds $40 - $75 depending on time of day.
Yes, we run Dicor reseals at Larrabee regularly. Rigs sitting under the Samish Bay tree canopy collect needle drop, sap, and BNSF rail spray that breaks down lap sealant fast.
A typical perimeter and penetration reseal runs $185 - $385 flat-rate, including any failed EPDM seam tape we find while we are up there. We bring a full caulk and EPDM patch kit on every truck.
A Schwintek motor swap on a 1-2 slide system runs $485 - $785 flat in Bellingham, including the new Lippert motor assembly and recalibration. Lippert through-frame and Power Gear gear-pack systems run a similar range.
If the slide is binding because of a corroded rail or bent gear track, we will quote that separately by phone before dispatch.
Yes - cross-border traffic is a big part of our weekly book. We handle LP regulator swaps, propane fitting conversions, 30A/50A pedestal compatibility checks, and inverter diagnostics on Canadian-spec coaches that hit issues coming through Sumas or Blaine.
We also do leak-test certifications that are accepted at Canadian RV parks. The cert visit runs $185 flat including the regulator if needed.
Yes. Roof leaks during a wet front are our most common emergency call November through March. We carry Dicor lap sealant, EPDM patch kits, and a full vent/AC gasket library so we can stop the water on the first visit.
Emergency response in Bellingham runs 2-4 hours from call to truck on-site. Emergency surcharge is $40 - $75 depending on time of day.
Yes, we do NRVIA Level 1 and Level 2 pre-purchase inspections at Poulsbo RV Mt. Vernon and other regional dealers. We coordinate directly with the service desk so you do not have to be there.
A Level 2 inspection runs $385 - $585 flat-rate and you receive a written digital report with photos, fluid samples, and a defect list within 48 hours.
Standard service hours are 8 AM to 6 PM Monday through Saturday. We add Sunday emergency coverage May through September during the Alaska Highway and snowbird shoulder seasons.
After-hours emergency calls are answered by Travis directly and run a $40 - $75 surcharge depending on time of day.
No, we work plenty of rigs without the owner present, especially for snowbirds at Bellingham RV Park or storage-lot calls. We need keys, a power source if applicable, and a clear written description of the issue.
We send photos before and after the work and call you when complete to walk through what we did. Payment is by card over the phone after you approve the final invoice.
Our Bellingham truck stages near 110 E Smith Rd just east of I-5 exit 256, which puts us within 25 minutes of Ferndale, Lynden, Sumas, Lummi Island ferry, and the Samish Bay corridor. Same-day dispatch when you call before 11 AM; emergency response runs 2-4 hours from call to truck on-site.
Extended service area covers Whatcom and north Skagit County including Mt. Vernon, Sedro-Woolley, and Anacortes at 4-6 hour response. We do not do chassis or engine work; for Cummins ISL/ISX or Freightliner XCM/MM chassis service we refer to Cummins Pacific in Mt. Vernon and Freightliner of Washington in Mount Vernon, and we coordinate the coach-side coordination so the rig only goes to the chassis shop once.
