Active mobile RV repair across west Fort Worth and the Benbrook Lake corridor along Southwest Boulevard. Same-day on roof, plumbing, electrical, slide-outs, AC, generators, and awnings. Run by Benjamin Ross, RVIA-certified, accountable to Tarrant and Parker counties.
The 76116 Southwest Boulevard truck position sits five minutes from the USACE campgrounds at Benbrook Lake, putting Bear Creek Campground and Holiday Park inside our daily service radius. Most rigs in this corridor are fifth-wheels and travel trailers stored at home or in driveways across Benbrook, White Settlement, and west Fort Worth, with weekend overflow into Class A traffic from Possum Kingdom Lake about 75 miles west.
Local rig owners skew toward weekenders and seasonal full-timers who use Benbrook as a quick lakeside escape rather than a destination park. That changes the work mix: we run more pre-trip leak surveys on Thursday afternoons, more slide-out adjustments on Friday mornings, and more emergency same-day calls when something fails 10 minutes after arriving at the lake.
Toy haulers staging out for off-road trips toward Possum Kingdom or up to the Decatur ranch country also lean heavily on this side of the metroplex. Awning fabric, slide topper, and electrical-system upgrades dominate that customer's pre-trip queue.
DFW Hail Alley delivers multiple severe events every spring across Tarrant County, and the west Fort Worth/Benbrook corridor catches as much as the rest of the metroplex. Roof-skin penetrations, AC condenser shroud crushing, skylight cracks, and front fiberglass cap fractures are the recurring claim drivers between March and May. A complete shroud swap is $185 to $245 flat; a Dicor lap sealant front-cap reseal is $245 flat.
Summer heat is the second big driver. Triple-digit afternoons through July and August degrade EPDM and TPO membranes, slide-toppers, and tire sidewalls at accelerated rates. We run rooftop AC capacitor swaps ($165 to $245 flat), Schwintek motor swaps when wall tracks bind from sun damage ($385 to $485 flat), and 13.5K BTU rooftop AC replacement ($785 to $1,395 flat).
The Feb 2021 Uri freeze cracked PEX and water heaters across the entire metroplex, and a chunk of those rigs were dewinterized too quickly and are still being remediated. Shurflo Aquajet pump diaphragm replacement is $245 to $385 flat; a 6-gallon water heater swap runs $785 to $1,395 flat depending on access. We also run full winterization service at the storage lot for $145 to $245 flat.

The Southwest Boulevard truck position is 5 minutes from Holiday Park and 10 minutes from Bear Creek, both USACE units on Benbrook Lake. A morning call typically lands inside an hour during the lake season.
Emergency calls (active leak, AC dead in 100-degree heat, generator down) run on a 2 to 4 hour response, and we confirm a flat-rate quote on the phone before dispatch.
Yes. Bear Creek's Mustang Park unit on the south side of Benbrook Lake is on our weekly route, and we run roof reseals, vent gasket replacements, and skylight swaps there regularly.
A spot reseal on one or two seams is $145 to $185 flat. A full perimeter reseal runs $385 to $585 flat.
A complete front-cap reseal is $245 flat. We carry Dicor lap sealant, Eternabond, and EPDM seam tape on the truck.
A 6-gallon Atwood or Suburban water heater swap runs $785 to $1,395 flat depending on access and whether the bypass kit and check valves need replacement.
We carry both DSI (electronic ignition) and pilot-light models on the truck. Most swaps finish same-day, including a full leak check and pressure test.
Yes. July and August 100-degree afternoons are our highest-volume rooftop AC window.
A capacitor swap is $165 to $245 flat and finishes in under an hour. Soft-start kit add-on is $245 flat.
If the unit needs a full replacement, a 13.5K BTU swap is $785 to $1,395 flat. We carry capacitors, run-fan motors, and ducting on every truck.
Yes. We run NRVIA Level 1 ($185 to $285) and Level 2 ($385 to $585) pre-purchase inspections at dealer lots in Benbrook, west Fort Worth, and Weatherford, plus private-seller storage and consignment yards.
Reports are delivered same-day with photos, slide cycle counts, full electrical test, and appliance start-up. You can negotiate or walk away before closing.
We do extended-area runs out to Possum Kingdom on a 4 to 6 hour response window, usually scheduled a day in advance because it's a 75-mile run from Southwest Boulevard.
Same-day Possum Kingdom service is reserved for emergencies (active leak, dead generator at the campground). Routine maintenance goes on the next-day calendar.
Standard service is 7 AM to 7 PM Monday through Saturday, with after-hours emergency response up to 10 PM at a $40 to $75 flat surcharge.
Sunday calls are emergency only. Same-day scheduling cutoff for guaranteed arrival is 11 AM.
Not for most jobs. If the rig is unlocked, on shore power, and we have key access to cabinets and storage bays, we can run roof, AC, awning, slide-out, and most plumbing service without you on-site.
You do need to be present (or on a phone callback) for pre-purchase inspections, payment confirmation on jobs over $1,000, and any work that involves moving the rig.
The truck stages out of 4414 Southwest Blvd #15 in west Fort Worth (76116), with a 5-minute run to Benbrook Lake's USACE units, a 12-minute shot to downtown via I-30, and clean access to White Settlement, Aledo, and the Loop 820 west belt. Same-day arrival inside 76116/76126/76108/76112 is standard when you call before 11 AM, with 2 to 4 hour emergency response.
Extended-area calls (Weatherford, Possum Kingdom, Granbury, Stephenville) run on a 4 to 6 hour response, and Possum Kingdom Lake routes typically schedule next-day during peak weeks. We don't run chassis work - engine, transmission, brake, and drive-axle repair on Class A coaches and Sprinter-based Class C units goes to Cummins Coach Care of Fort Worth, Freightliner of Fort Worth, or Daimler Trucks North America.
