Active mobile RV repair across Saginaw and the Eagle Mountain Lake recreation corridor in northwest Tarrant County. Same-day on roof, plumbing, electrical, slide-outs, AC, generators, and awnings. Run by Mason Cox, RVIA-certified, accountable to NW Tarrant County.
Saginaw is the gateway suburb between northwest Fort Worth and Eagle Mountain Lake, putting our truck at the hub of a heavy weekend fifth-wheel and Class A migration onto the lake. Friday afternoons fill our calendar with pre-departure prep calls, and Sunday and Monday are dominated by post-weekend repair tickets after a slide-out failure or a roof leak ruined the trip.
Toy-hauler traffic running northwest to Possum Kingdom (about 70 miles) and Lake Bridgeport routes through here regularly, and the Saginaw Boulevard storage corridor along Highway 287 holds a substantial fleet of stored rigs. We see a steady mix of Class A motorhomes, Keystone and Forest River fifth-wheels, and Jayco travel trailers across the residential and storage-lot inventory.
Lake-season pre-trip prep clusters our schedule heavily from late April through Labor Day, with full-timers and snowbirds at West Bay Marina and Lakeview Marina pushing year-round demand.
DFW Hail Alley peak season (March through May) regularly produces 1.5 to 3 inch hail across north Tarrant County, and the Saginaw / Eagle Mountain Lake corridor is no exception. Rooftop AC condenser shrouds, Maxxair vent lids, skylights, and front fiberglass caps are the recurring claim drivers. A complete shroud swap is $185 to $245 flat; a Dicor lap sealant front-cap reseal runs $245 flat.
Lake-season usage hammers slide-out seals and rooftop AC capacitors. We run Schwintek slide motor swaps ($385 to $485 flat), slide topper replacement ($385 flat), AC capacitor swaps ($165 to $245 flat), and Onan generator service ($185 to $285 flat) on a continuous summer rotation. 100F-plus afternoons through July and August also degrade EPDM and TPO membranes ahead of the factory 5-year curve, so re-tape and re-Dicor work runs steady.
The Feb 2021 Uri-grade freeze damaged a vast share of stored rigs in this rural-edge corridor where commercial-grade shelter is rare. Cracked PEX manifolds, ruptured water heater tanks, and Shurflo Aquajet pump diaphragm failures are still being remediated as owners de-winterize. Pump replacement is $245 to $385 flat; a 6-gallon water heater swap runs $785 to $1,395 flat.

The truck stages out of Burlington Road in Saginaw (76179), so West Bay Marina, Lakeview Marina, and Eagle Resorts are all inside a 15-minute run. A morning call usually lands inside an hour during the lake season.
Emergency calls run on a 2 to 4 hour response, and we confirm a flat-rate quote on the phone before dispatch.
Yes. West Bay's 225-plus sites on Eagle Mountain Lake are on our regular weekly route, and we run roof reseals, vent gasket replacements, and skylight swaps there as part of routine resident-stay service.
A spot reseal is $145 to $185 flat. A full perimeter reseal runs $385 to $585 flat.
A complete front-cap reseal is $245 flat. We carry Dicor lap sealant, Eternabond, and EPDM seam tape on the truck.
A single Schwintek in-wall slide motor swap is $385 to $485 flat with the motor and harness on the truck. Lippert through-frame motor swaps run $485 to $785 flat depending on whether the gear pack also needs replacement.
Both quotes include diagnosis, removal, install, and a full extend/retract test cycle. No diagnostic fee, no hourly meter.
Yes. Spring hail and outflow-wind events are our busiest emergency window.
Same-day patch work to stop active water intrusion is $145 to $245 flat. We document the damage with timestamped photos for your insurance claim.
Full repair scopes (membrane, sub-floor, ceiling panel) get re-quoted once we expose the damage.
We do extended-area runs out to Possum Kingdom on a 4 to 6 hour response window, usually scheduled a day in advance because it's a 70-mile run from Burlington Road.
Same-day Possum Kingdom service is reserved for emergencies. Routine maintenance goes on the next-day calendar. Eagle Mountain Lake stays on the same-day list.
Yes. We run NRVIA Level 1 ($185 to $285) and Level 2 ($385 to $585) pre-purchase inspections at dealer lots, private-seller storage, and consignment yards across Saginaw, Azle, Lake Worth, and northwest Fort Worth.
Reports are delivered same-day with photos, slide-out cycle counts, full electrical test, and appliance start-up.
Standard service is 7 AM to 7 PM Monday through Saturday, with after-hours emergency response up to 10 PM at a $40 to $75 flat surcharge.
Sunday calls are emergency only (active leak, lockout, dead generator at the campground). Same-day scheduling cutoff for guaranteed arrival is 11 AM.
Not for most jobs. If the rig is unlocked, on shore power, and we have key access to cabinets and storage bays, we can run roof, AC, awning, slide-out, and most plumbing service without you on-site.
You do need to be present (or on a phone callback) for pre-purchase inspections, payment confirmation on jobs over $1,000, and any work that involves moving the rig.
The truck stages out of 601 Burlington Rd #117 in Saginaw (76179), giving us 15-minute access to Eagle Mountain Lake, 12 minutes to Lake Worth, 20 minutes to downtown Fort Worth via I-820, and clean shots up Highway 287 to Decatur. Same-day arrival across NW Tarrant County is the rule when you call before 11 AM, with a 2 to 4 hour emergency response window.
Extended-area calls (Possum Kingdom, Bridgeport, Granbury, Weatherford, Justin) run on a 4 to 6 hour response, sometimes pushing to next-day during peak storm weeks. We don't run chassis work - engine, transmission, brake, and drive-axle repair on Class A coaches and Class C cutaways goes to Cummins Coach Care of Fort Worth, Freightliner of Fort Worth, or Daimler Trucks for Sprinter-based units.
