Active mobile RV repair across west Oklahoma City, OK and the I-40 corridor toward Mustang and Yukon. Same-day on roof, plumbing, electrical, slide-outs, AC, and Onan generator service. Run by Christopher Bell, RVIA-certified, accountable to the OKC metro.
West Oklahoma City sits at the I-40 / I-44 junction where the State Fairgrounds, Will Rogers World Airport, and the Council Road corridor pull a constant rotation of Class A coaches, fifth-wheels, and toy haulers. The W Reno truck covers everything west of May Avenue out to Yukon, Mustang, and the El Reno turnpike, with a steady mix of full-timers wintering at Council Road RV Park and weekenders staging for I-40 west.
Spring is the busiest stretch by a wide margin. Central Oklahoma's hail corridor runs straight through this side of the metro from April through June, and the call list goes vertical the day after every supercell that passes through Canadian and Oklahoma counties. Insurance jobs - roof punctures, AC shroud caves, skylight stars - dominate May and June.
The rest of the year is steady toy-hauler and fifth-wheel traffic moving west on I-40 toward Lake Eufaula and south to Lake Texoma. We see the same axle, brake, and slide-seal jobs come back every long weekend, plus winterization clusters in November and de-winterization clusters in March.
Hail-driven roof work is the single largest job category here. EPDM and TPO punctures from April-June supercells need clean cuts, new seam tape, and Dicor self-leveling lap sealant - we run a $245 flat-rate front-cap reseal and $185 - $385 on full perimeter resealing, depending on roof length and how long the membrane has been baking through OKC's 100F summers.
Slide-outs are the second-biggest call type. Schwintek motors fail when wind-load damage racks the rail, and a swap runs $485 - $785 with the new motor, controller diagnostic, and rail re-shimming. Lippert through-frame gear packs and slide-topper fabric replacements are common on fifth-wheels coming back from Lake Texoma weekends, since the dryline winds shred a worn topper in one trip.
Winter brings a different mix. Atwood and Suburban DSI water heaters lose their gas valves when freeze-thaw cycles split the supply lines that feed them, and we keep DSI control modules and 6-gallon Suburban replacements stocked - the full water heater swap runs $785 - $1,395. Hard west-side groundwater also scales anode rods to nothing inside 18 months, so anode replacements are a cheap $85 - $145 add-on whenever we are already inside the bypass.

Same-day if you call our W Reno line before 11 AM Monday through Saturday. The truck stages off I-40 near Council Road and most metro sites land inside 90 minutes once dispatched.
Emergency calls (active roof leak, refrigerator out in 100F summer heat, slide stuck open in a hailstorm) get a 2 - 4 hour response window with a flat $40 - $75 emergency adder on top of the job quote.
Yes - Council Road is three miles south of our W Reno truck, so we are on-site there several times a week. Full perimeter EPDM/TPO reseals run $185 - $385 with new Dicor self-leveling lap sealant and seam tape on every joint that needs it.
If we find a puncture or seam separation that needs a patch first, we cut, re-tape, and reseal in the same visit. No second trip charge.
A Schwintek in-wall motor swap is $485 - $785 flat, parts and labor, on most travel trailers and fifth-wheels. That includes the new Schwintek motor, controller diagnostic, rail re-shimming, and a leak check on the slide gasket.
Lippert through-frame gear-pack swaps run higher - $585 - $985 depending on whether the gear pack alone failed or the slide rails need re-squaring. We quote firm before dispatch.
Yes, that's our busiest call category every spring. We carry EPDM patches, Eternabond seam tape, Dicor lap sealant, replacement vent covers, AC shrouds, and skylight domes on the truck for same-day stop-the-leak work.
We also write detailed photo-documented hail-damage reports for your insurance carrier at no extra charge if we are already on-site for the temporary repair.
Yes - Class A coaches are a big share of our Council Road and Rockwell RV Park work November through March. We handle Onan generator service, hydraulic leveler diagnostics, slide-out gear packs, and Norcold/Dometic absorption fridge cooling-unit swaps on Class A rigs every week.
Chassis-side work on Freightliner or Spartan frames goes to a chassis dealer; everything coach-side we cover on-site.
Yes. NRVIA Level 2 pre-purchase inspections run $385 - $585 flat depending on rig length, and we land at Mustang Run, Council Road, Rockwell, or any private seller's driveway in the OKC metro.
You get a full PDF report with photos of every system tested - roof, slides, plumbing, electrical, propane leak-down, appliances, and chassis-coach interface points.
Standard hours are 8 AM to 6 PM Monday through Saturday for the West Reno truck. Sundays are emergency-only with the +$40 - $75 after-hours adder.
If you need a job booked outside those windows for a fairground or airport schedule, call dispatch and we'll work the calendar around your departure.
Not for most jobs. Long-term Council Road and Rockwell residents leave the rig open or coordinate park-office access, and we send before/after photos plus the flat-rate invoice by text.
Pre-purchase inspections and any job that requires a customer signature on insurance paperwork do need someone present, but routine roof, plumbing, and AC work does not.
The truck stages off W Reno Ave near the I-40 / Council Road interchange, which puts us inside 30 minutes of Council Road, Rockwell, Mustang Run, and the State Fairgrounds, and inside an hour of downtown OKC, Yukon, Mustang, and El Reno. Same-day landing is standard for any call placed before 11 AM Monday through Saturday.
Extended-area runs to Chickasha, Norman west side, Edmond, and the Lake Stanley Draper / Lake Hefner perimeter are 4 - 6 hour windows the same day or first-thing next morning. We don't cover Freightliner, Cummins, Workhorse, or Spartan chassis work - those go to the dealer networks at Cummins Sales & Service of Oklahoma off I-40 east or the local Freightliner truck dealers; everything coach-side, we cover on-site.
