Mobile RV repair across far-west Oklahoma City and the Yukon / Mustang dryline edge of the metro. Same-day on roof, slide-outs, awnings, axles, brakes, AC, and Onan generator service. Run by Kyle Patterson, RVIA-certified, accountable to the I-40 west panhandle pipeline.
Far-west OKC sits on the dryline - the boundary where Plains moist air collides with desert dry air to spawn the supercells that built central Oklahoma's reputation for severe weather. The Rockwell Avenue truck covers the western edge of the metro from N Rockwell out through Yukon, Mustang, and the Canadian County line, with steady runs onto I-40 westbound headed for Elk City, Clinton, Weatherford, and the Texas Panhandle.
The customer base is heavy on full-timers and snowbirds at Rockwell RV Park plus a constant stream of toy-hauler and fifth-wheel traffic westbound on I-40 toward Amarillo and the Rockies. Because this side of the metro takes the first hit from any westbound severe-weather event, the call list runs hot every spring and again every fall when the secondary severe-weather peak builds.
The signature damage out here is what locals call "gorilla hail" - 4+ inch stones the NWS has logged in this corridor multiple times. Slide-out wind-load damage, awning rip-offs, and AC condenser mash from straight-line winds round out the bread-and-butter call types.
Awning damage from straight-line dryline wind events is the call we get the day after every severe-weather day. A Carefree or Solera arm-and-fabric rebuild runs $685 - $1,285 flat depending on width and motor type. We carry common Carefree Eclipse and Solera Power awning fabric on the truck for same-visit replacement on standard widths.
I-40 westbound traffic generates a steady stream of axle, brake, and tire failures. Toy haulers and fifth-wheels coming back from Amarillo or Elk City with hot wheel bearings, blown tires, or burned brake magnets land in our queue every Sunday and Monday. Wheel-bearing repack runs $185 - $345 per axle; brake-magnet replacement $185 - $345 per axle; tire change-overs $85 - $165 per wheel plus tire cost.
Yukon and Mustang sit on a hard, gypsum-influenced groundwater zone that scales water heaters and pump check valves on long-term rigs faster than the metro average. Suburban water heater anode rods are eaten in 12 - 18 months out here; a swap is $85 - $145 as an add-on to any service call. Shurflo Aquajet pump replacements run $245 - $385 flat when scale finally locks them.

Yes - awning rebuilds after dryline windstorms are our highest-volume spring call out here. We carry Carefree Eclipse and Solera Power awning fabric in the most common widths, plus replacement arms and motors on the truck.
A full arm + motor + fabric rebuild runs $685 - $1,285 flat depending on width. Fabric-only replacements are $385 - $585.
Yes - Rockwell RV Park is our home corridor and we are on-site there several times a week. Full perimeter EPDM/TPO reseals run $185 - $385 with new Dicor self-leveling lap sealant on every roof joint that needs it.
If we find puncture damage from large-stone hail, we patch with Eternabond seam tape and reseal in the same visit. We document everything for your insurance carrier.
Yes - I-40 westbound traffic generates back-from-the-trip wheel bearing and brake calls every Sunday. Wheel-bearing repack runs $185 - $345 per axle, and brake-magnet replacement is $185 - $345 per axle including the new magnet, backing-plate cleanup, and a brake-controller test.
If a wheel bearing actually burned through, we install a new spindle and bearing kit; quoted firm before dispatch.
Yes - the gypsum-influenced groundwater out here scales anode rods to nothing in 12 - 18 months. Anode replacement is a quick $85 - $145 add-on to any service call.
If the heater itself has lost its tank lining or DSI module, full Suburban 6-gallon replacement runs $785 - $1,395 flat with parts and labor.
Yes. NRVIA Level 2 pre-purchase inspections run $385 - $585 flat depending on rig length and we land at Blue Compass RV or any other dealer or private seller in the metro.
The inspection is independent - we work for the buyer, and the PDF report flags every system fault we'd want to know about ourselves.
8 AM to 6 PM Monday through Saturday for the Rockwell Avenue truck. Sundays are emergency-only with the after-hours adder.
I-40 westbound travelers needing rig issues solved before a Monday Texas-Panhandle departure can usually get a Saturday or Sunday-emergency slot if booked Friday.
Not for routine work. Long-stay Rockwell residents and Mustang Run travelers can leave the rig accessible, and we send before/after photos with the flat-rate invoice by text.
Pre-purchase inspections, hail-claim insurance work, and any signature-required job do need someone present on-site.
The truck stages off N Rockwell Avenue near the I-40 westbound on-ramp, which puts us inside 30 minutes of Rockwell RV Park, Mustang Run, the Yukon city core, the Canadian County line, and the western edge of OKC city limits. Same-day landing is standard for any call placed before 11 AM Monday through Saturday.
Extended-area runs to El Reno, Calumet, Piedmont, and the western I-40 corridor toward Weatherford are 4 - 6 hour windows the same day or first-thing next morning. We do not cover Cummins, Freightliner, or Spartan chassis work; those go to the chassis dealer networks at the I-40 east interchange. Coach-side, we cover everything.
