Active mobile RV repair across Hewitt, the Enterprise Blvd dealer row, and the south I-35 corridor down toward Lorena and Bruceville-Eddy. Same-day on roof, plumbing, electrical, slide-outs, AC, and Onan generator service. Run by Eric Howard, RVIA-certified, dispatching from 125 First St in Hewitt.
Hewitt is the dealer-row suburb directly south of Waco on I-35, and the local RV economy revolves around two yards: Crestview RV and Fun Town RV, both on Enterprise Blvd. That makes our daily call mix here distinctly different from Waco itself.
Most jobs in Hewitt are first-90-day issues on brand-new rigs: warranty PDIs, slide-seal failures the dealer missed, factory-defect roof seams, and miswired converter feeds. Crestview moves a heavy mix of Jayco, Winnebago, and Coachmen; Fun Town carries Black Series, Heartland, and Forest River. We run mobile-only and we work for the buyer, not the dealer.
Outside the dealer lots, the Hewitt long-termer crowd is working-class and practical - most rigs are 5th-wheels and travel trailers parked behind houses off Sun Valley Blvd, at FM-2063 farm spreads, and at small full-hookup parks like Tonkawa Falls in Crawford. We service everything from the chassis up.
Warranty punch-lists are the number one workflow here. After the March 15 and May 23, 2025 hail events, Crestview and Fun Town storage lots filled up with damaged units, and we work through the post-PDI list: leaky front-cap seams, miswired 30-amp shore power feeds, and Schwintek slides that never quite seated.
Roof and seal failure is pattern two. EPDM and TPO seams bake under 100F+ summers and Dicor lap sealant lifts at the front cap radii within 18-24 months. A typical front-cap reseal in Hewitt runs $245 - $385 with self-leveling Dicor; full perimeter reseals on a 32-foot 5th-wheel run $485 - $685.
Pattern three is hard-water scale. Edwards/Trinity recharge-zone supply runs above 7 gpg here, and Suburban water heaters built between 2018 and 2022 lose elements fast.
A 6-gallon Suburban swap with anode and T+P valve runs $785 - $1,195. Slide-out gear packs gritted up by Brazos River-bottom dust off FM-2063 add another regular line item: a Schwintek motor with new gear pack runs $485 - $785.

Same-day if you call before 11 AM. Hewitt is 10 - 20 minutes from Eric's home base on First St, so most of the suburb is a quick run.
Emergency response (active leak, dead AC, 100F+ no-cool) is 2 - 4 hours with a $40 - $75 after-hours fee.
Yes. We run NRVIA Level 1 and Level 2 inspections on dealer lots in Hewitt - Fun Town and Crestview both - and we work for the buyer, not the dealer.
Level 2 with moisture meter, roof walk, and full systems check runs $385 - $585 with a same-day emailed report. Booking is two to five business days out, longer during fall RV-show season.
Yes. We work on warranty rigs, but if you want the dealer to pay, you have to coordinate the claim with Crestview first. Many owners pay us out of pocket because the dealer wait is six to eight weeks.
A Schwintek slide-out motor swap runs $485 - $785; a slide-seal redo with new wiper and bulb seal runs $345 - $545.
Yes. We do not run insurance body-shop work, but we re-skin AC shrouds, replace cracked Heng's and Dometic skylights, and reseal lifted EPDM and TPO seams.
Dometic Penguin shroud replacement runs $185 - $285; skylight swap with butyl tape and Dicor seal runs $245 - $385.
Front-cap or rear-cap reseals at Tonkawa Falls run $245 - $385 because we have to drive 15 minutes out from Hewitt and the work usually finishes in one visit.
Full perimeter reseals (every seam, every vent, every penetration) on a 32-foot trailer run $485 - $685, finished same-day if the weather holds.
Yes. We work on Class A diesel pushers and gas chassis daily across the Enterprise Blvd dealer corridor. Roof, plumbing, electrical, slide-outs, AC, generator - everything from the chassis up.
Chassis-level work (engine, transmission, brakes, leveling air bags) goes to Cummins Sales and Service in Waco or to a Freightliner XCS dealer; we refer those out.
Yes. Hewitt is on the Edwards/Trinity recharge zone and the local supply runs above 7 gpg hardness, which kills Suburban tanks fast. A full 6-gallon swap runs $785 - $1,195.
If the tank still holds and you only need a new anode rod plus element, that is a $145 - $245 service. We carry both 120V and combo (LP + electric) elements on the truck.
No. As long as the rig is unlocked or someone at the dealer can let us in, we can work without you on site. We text photos before, during, and after.
Payment is by phone or text-link after sign-off, so you can be at work in DFW or back home while we handle the call.
Eric's truck parks off First St in Hewitt right next to the I-35 frontage road, which puts the entire Enterprise Blvd dealer row inside a 10-minute window. Same-day service is locked in if you call before 11 AM; emergency response (leak, no AC, dead converter) is 2 - 4 hours.
Extended-area runs into Hill County (Hillsboro, Whitney), Bell County (Temple, Belton), and Coryell County (Gatesville, Crawford) are 4 - 6 hour next-day calls at the same flat-rate. Chassis work (engine, transmission, brakes, leveling air bags) goes to Cummins Sales and Service in Waco or to Freightliner Custom Chassis in DFW; we handle everything from the chassis up.
