Active mobile RV repair across south Dallas and the Joe Pool Lake / Cedar Hill corridor. Same-day on roof, plumbing, electrical, slide-outs, AC, and generator service. Run by Joseph Wright, RVIA-certified, accountable to Dallas and Ellis counties.
The 75236 Redbird and Mountain Creek corridor on south Dallas's edge sits five minutes from Joe Pool Lake and Cedar Hill State Park, putting our truck inside the busiest weekend RV destination on the Dallas side of the metroplex. We run a steady mix of fifth-wheels, travel trailers, and toy haulers staging at Cedar Hill, plus Class A motorhomes inbound from Loop 12 and I-20 for events downtown.
The South Dallas rig population skews toward owner-stored coaches kept in driveways across DeSoto, Duncanville, and Cedar Hill, with a smaller count of long-term residents at The Retreat at Shady Creek. That changes our work mix on Mondays and Tuesdays: post-weekend cleanup calls (slide-out won't retract, water leak found at the lake, generator surging on Saturday morning) dominate the early-week queue.
Toy-hauler traffic running south to Lake Whitney also lands in our service radius regularly, especially during spring boat season. Most of these owners want pre-trip inspections, awning swaps, and electrical upgrades done at the storage lot before Friday afternoon.
DFW Hail Alley is the dominant claim driver on this side of the metroplex. March through May routinely produces 1.5 to 3 inch hail across Dallas County, and we run dozens of post-storm calls for crushed rooftop AC condenser shrouds, cracked Maxxair vent lids, fractured solar panels, and pinhole leaks in EPDM/TPO membrane. A full Dicor lap sealant front-cap reseal runs $245 flat on most travel trailers.
Joe Pool Lake fifth-wheels and Cedar Hill weekenders bring a heavy slide-out and water-system workload. Schwintek motors stall when roller-bearing tracks bind from years of dust and sun, and the swap is $385 to $485 flat with the motor stocked on the truck. We also see a steady run of Shurflo Aquajet pump diaphragm failures from the Feb 2021 Uri freeze that owners only catch after de-winterizing for the first lake trip; pump replacement is $245 to $385 flat.
Triple-digit Texas summers cook EPDM and TPO membranes well ahead of factory 5-year curves, plus they melt slide-out wiper seals and bubble decals on south-facing walls. We swap a 13.5K BTU rooftop AC for $785 to $1,395 flat, replace a slide-topper for $385 flat, and re-tape and re-Dicor a single roof seam for $145 on a same-day visit.

If you call before 11 AM on a weekday, we can usually reach the Joe Pool Lake side of Cedar Hill State Park inside the same business day. Our truck stages out of the 75236 corridor on Brass Way, which is a 15-minute run down Mountain Creek Parkway to the park gate.
Weekend and emergency calls run on a 2 to 4 hour response target. We confirm a flat-rate quote on the phone before dispatch, so you know what the visit costs before we leave the shop.
Yes. We bring Dicor lap sealant, EPDM seam tape, and full self-leveling kits on the truck and run roof reseals at The Retreat at Shady Creek as part of our regular weekly route.
A spot reseal on one or two seams is $145 to $185 flat, a full perimeter reseal runs $385 to $585 depending on length, and a complete front-cap reseal on a travel trailer is $245 flat.
For a Schwintek in-wall slide motor swap on a single slide, we charge $385 to $485 flat with the motor and harness on the truck. Lippert through-frame motor swaps run $485 to $785 flat depending on whether the gear pack also needs replacement.
Both quotes include diagnosis, removal, install, and a full extend/retract test cycle. No diagnostic fee, no hourly meter.
Yes. Spring hail and outflow-wind events between March and May are our busiest emergency window in Dallas, and we keep storm-week inventory loaded - Dicor self-leveling, Eternabond, AC shrouds, Maxxair vent lids, and skylight domes.
Same-day patch work to stop active water intrusion is typically $145 to $245 flat. Full repair scopes (membrane patch, sub-floor drying, ceiling panel) get re-quoted once we expose the damage.
Yes. The KOA on Cooper Street west of 75236 is on our regular weekly route, and we service Class A coaches there for capacitor failures, generator surge, slide-out wiper seal replacement, and roof maintenance.
We don't touch chassis work (engine, transmission, brakes) - those go to a Cummins, Freightliner, or Daimler dealer in the Mesquite or Lewisville corridor. Coach systems, plumbing, electrical, and appliances are all in scope.
Yes. We run NRVIA Level 1 and Level 2 pre-purchase inspections at Joe Pool Lake-area parks, dealer lots, and private-seller storage.
Level 1 is $185 to $285 and covers 100-point visual plus a leak survey. Level 2 is $385 to $585 and includes appliance start-up, full electrical test, and slide-out cycle counts.
Reports are delivered same-day with photos, so you can negotiate or walk away before closing.
Our standard window is 7 AM to 7 PM Monday through Saturday, with emergency after-hours availability up to 10 PM at a $40 to $75 flat surcharge.
Sunday calls are reserved for active leaks and lockouts; we don't run routine maintenance on Sundays. Same-day scheduling closes at 11 AM for guaranteed same-day arrival.
Not for most jobs. If the rig is unlocked, in shore power, and has a clear key location for cabinets or storage bays, we can run roof, awning, AC, slide-out, and most plumbing service without an owner present.
You do need to be present (or on a phone callback) for pre-purchase inspections, payment confirmation on jobs over $1,000, and any work that requires test driving or moving the rig.
The truck stages out of 4576 Brass Way #5 in southwest Dallas (75236), with quick I-20 and Loop 12 access west to Cedar Hill, Duncanville, DeSoto, and Grand Prairie, and east to Lancaster and Hutchins. Same-day arrival inside Dallas County is the rule when you call before 11 AM, and emergency response on the south Dallas side is a 2 to 4 hour window.
Extended-area calls (south to Waxahachie/Ennis, west into east Tarrant County, north past Loop 12 to Garland and Mesquite) run on a 4 to 6 hour response and may push to next-day during peak storm weeks. We do not run chassis work - engine, transmission, brake, or drive-axle repair on Class A coaches and Class C cutaways goes to Cummins Coach Care, Freightliner of Dallas, or Daimler Trucks North America in the Mesquite and Hutchins service corridor.
